Brief Description: Wheel Fairing and Upper Cowl Fiberglass
I went back to working some fiberglass areas that I was wanting to address.
I made some nylon dams to place around the oil door perimeter. I was using a sanding method that ended up being a little too aggressive and took a bit too much off the sides. So I clamped the dams in place and filled the space with SuperFil Epoxy Filler.
I also had to build up the rear edge of the right wheel fairing. So I used a dam once again and laid it along the seem and built it up with SuperFil. The buildups are maybe around 1/32 and SuperFil works great for such things.
Finally I was in the shop and decided to slip some switch covers on the toggles....it may or may not be the final color rendition but it is in the ballpark.
