I started today's session by sanding the SuperFil Acne filler off where I had filled in some minor imperfections. The I gave the fairing a once over and got a few other areas sanded as I used a bright light and magnifiers to look it over.
After that it was getting the inside covered up to protect the cage and inside fairing from getting overspray when priming. Unfortunately my part-time helper is out of town till tomorrow evening, so I was wrestling the canopy myself. When I transitioned it from the saw horses to the floor standing upright the forward right side of skirt corner cracked about 3/4 inch. I will address it and lay more glass on it. Relatively easy fix.....just needs some glass and a clamp.
I brought the canopy outside and shot the skirt with some of my fillable-sandable primer. It is drying for the night and we will hopefully look to get it wet sanded tomorrow.
