Of course no operation this large in scale is without the potential for casualties and we figured a casualty rate of ten percent. Unfortunately, Jim Andrews was injured on his arm (previous post) which gave us about a 20 percent casualty rate.....the good news is that he is expected to fully recover especially having left for two weeks in Florida in his camper!!!!
The day wasn't over yet....the crew assisted with moving the large benches, propeller, and sundry other items to the hangar from the house for a couple hours.
When we finished moving stuff we decided to put the wings on for their first time for the heck of it!! By the time the wings got on it was a full day and we all went home to relax our weary bodies for a bit.
I can't say enough for the help that all these guys were in making this a successful move! I am closer to getting this airplane in the air.....and it wouldn't have gotten to this place without all the help I have received from these men and others. Thanks guys!!!
