Brief Description:  Sand Upper Cowl and All Landing Gear Fairings

It was a nice day so after work I went out to do some sanding. I worked the area of the oil door where I had put some Evercoat and got it sanded smooth.

Next I worked the canopy. We had to smooth out some areas with the Perma-grit sanding blocks. They leave some deep scratches in the fiberglass so I used a DA and 150 grit paper and smoothed them out. I will finish the skirt with some hand sanding to prep the skirt for Smooth priming.

The final event tonight was to wet sand all the landing gear fairings that I primed a few days ago. They are now sitting and waiting for a good day to shoot the Stewarts Epoxy Primer.
