I got out as soon as I could today in order to take advantage of the last few hours of sunshine as the rest of the week looks pretty wet and rainy.
I continued doing the obvious of sand sand sand!!! Then I felt they were ready for a rattle can coat of high build primer so with everything wiped down I began to shoot primer. I was able to get everything primed before darkness rolled in, except for the empennage fairing because I had put some SuperFil on some flaws and it wasn't sandable yet.....oh well next session!
All in all a good work session and I feel I am getting closer to completion of all this fiberglass work. I will finish the empennage fairing and the top and bottom cowls and on the next nice and warm day I will shoot all the parts with Stewart's Epoxy Primer.
