Brief Description: SuperFil Flaws on Landing Gear Fairings
I was able to get a little work done tonight on the fairings. There were some low spots and areas that needed to be filled.
My choice of filler for a lot of things is SuperFil. It is an epoxy based filler as opposed to a lot of fillers that are polyesther based and works well as a two part mixed filler. So after doing a little more sanding on some areas of the fairings, I mixed up a 9 gram batch of Superfil and went about filling in areas of the four fairings to allow them to cure overnight.
