Brief Description:  Emp Fairing, Lower Cowl, Landing Gear Fairings

Trying to rotate around and get all the glass finished up. Started by getting the empennage fairing done. I had put one more coat of SuperFil in a couple areas on the vertical stabilizer fot both the left and right sides a couple weeks ago. I took the time to get that sanded off. It is ready to be primed.

Decided to wash down the cowl interior with acetone and mix some epoxy diluted with acetone and brush the inside of the lower cowl. This is something Van's suggest in their manual. It seals the cowl area from oil and other engine contaminates.

I had to grind some of the areas where I laid flox and then I sanded all the outside of the landing gear fairings. I am ready to lay some micro and begin working on the flaws and imperfections to get the surfaces smoothed out......it will take a bit of work to be sure!
