Brief Description: Wing Template and Paint Removal
I cut out the template that I made last session and brought it out to the shop. I had to modify it to allow the vent fitting clearance. I had to recheck the pattern to be sure of a couple reference points were correct. The problem is we were getting deluged in rain yesterday.....we got 2 3/4 inches of rain yesterday.....I decided to hold off on the template and move on to something else instead of trying to dart back and forth to the basement from the shop dodging rain drops in the pouring rain!!!
I decided to work on the paint problem in the center section spar bolt holes. I used the Q-tips and some Goof-off solution and worked the paint issue. The paint is really towards the opening and isn't very thick. I was able to get some cleaned up.....but still more to do.
It was Kathryns birthday so we went out to celebrate......but the weather made it a chore to drive even with my pickup truck......a boat would have been better.
