Brief Description:  Make Inboard Wing Pattern

Rob and I discussed after the last session about completing the landing gear fairings that if I make an inboard wing pattern and set it on the fuselage I could get t good idea where to trim the landing gear fairings. Sounded like a good idea.

So tonight with the limited time I had I decided to work on the pattern. Using a large piece of aluminum that had a 90 degree bend already in it, I found and cut some thick cardboard and then some poster board and drilled and clecoed them to the aluminum angle.

With that done I cleared out for the fuel tank bracket and clamped the aluminum angle to the spar pushing the cardboard against the end of the wing. I went on to trace the profile and put lines for the top and bottoms of the spar as well as the spar face line from top to bottom in order to get it very close to trace the profile on the fuselage. Just have to cut it out now.

Since the wings are symmetrical it will be more than adequate to mark both sides of the fuselage.
