Brief Description:  Right Pmag Blast Tube & Cowl Pins

Worked on the right Pmag blast tube holder last night. Needed to make the holder a bit longer for this side so I used a piece of .040 aluminum for the tab. Got the #14 Adel clamp and installed it on the engine mount with the tab. I then drill two holes iin the tab and secure the SCAT hose with safety wire. Looks like it will do the job well. Some of these things will be determined only after the test flights start shaking down everything, but I believe that these should work well to hold the tubes in place.

I went on to permanently mark the left and right side cowl pins. They probably would be able to fit on either side but I just thought it might be good to do so in case they wear-in differently. Anyway I took my little jewlers torch and heated up the tips and flattened the ends with a ball peen hammer as "Bob the Blacksmith". Then using files, sandpaper, and a scotchbright wheel I finished them off. I bought a Souix compressed air engraving pencil that I saw walking through Brown Tool on one of my trips to OKC.....it really works great! I have engraved a number of things during the build where there was no problem for fatigue cracking or stress points to worry about on a part.

I used the engraving tool to mark the right and left pins for future reference. Only took about a half hour to do this modification.....not bad.....
