Brief Description:  Firewall Forward Items #2

Continued on from yesterday's firewall forward sundry activities. Make no mistake, bundling wires and getting things in their place neat and tidy is time consuming. Rob spent time working the wires with clamps and stuff while I worked on other items such as the Alternate Air Door cable.

We determined the Alt Air Cable could really use another standoff in the form of an Adel clamp to lift it and give better clearance to the ignition wires and just give it an over all better routing and support. Added an Adel clamp to the rear of the baffle on the left side and attached the cable. Of course this changed the lay of the cable which means I had to loosen all three of the adel clamps holding the cable and push the cable through so it would close properly once again. Overall it sits a lot better and is supported much better also.

Pmags really require blast tubes to be pointed towards the golden part of the Pmag where it has the electronics box and mounts on the engine. I had placed two flanges on the back side of the baffle in order to connect the tubes. The SCAT tubes have been attached but kind of sit in the area....I will look further at them and potentially try to make some kind of hose retainer to keep them right where they need to be located.....needs more work.
