Brief Description:  Flooring and Misc items

Winds were howling today and forecast to do the same tomorrow so it's great weather for building. Rob was looking for some work on aircraft today so he shot me a text to see if I would like some help......and of course I will always gladly take it!!!

We did a lot of miscellaneous items. Rob worked a bit on the forward baggage door leading edge. We determined the gas spring is really putting a lot of force on the door when closed....I am going to look into it further. The door only weighs about 4 pounds.....the cylinder doesn't really need to be that strong!

My lay up of glass on the emp fairing didn't look like it was curing as it needed to....it was dry but not totally hard but soft and bendable. That's not good. I felt I wasn't getting the correct amount of hardener the day before.....I guess this proves it!! I spent some time dismanteling all that I had done in order to perform Ver 2.0.

Rob worked the floors and prepped them and then later we teamed together and installed them with his pneumatic pop rivet gun....worked great and saved a lot of hand squeezing! Rob had also worked the rudder top and bottom caps and got those riveted.

More progress of scraps done which it is getting more the drill every session. Much thanks again to Rob.
