Brief Description:  Remove Tailwheel and Prep for Primer

After a month of being tied up with work for right at 30 days I finally got back into the shop. Trying to get some work done in the shop while getting caught up on house chores!

In the last session Rob assisted me in getting the fuse turned around to get the empenage ready to get installed in order to get it ready and the empennage fairing fit and ready. It seems the switch from hot to cold has gotten flipped kind of quickly this year.....it didn't help that there was a long summer of blistering heat.

I removed the bolts from the stinger assembly. I followed by taking some naptha and washing down the tail wheel weldment, stinger and parts. I was able to shoot the stinger and tail wheel receptacle with primer after taping them up to mask the bearing surfaces. Not enough time to paint the weldment inside...it needed to dry well from the solvent and time ran out as well.
