Brief Description:  Engine Cables and Hoses

(Continued)

While I was working on the cowlings Rob came over and helped for a while. He decided to take on the completion of the eyeball pass thru's that secure the cables on the firewall. That completed the throttle quadrant to engine cable installation.

We also routed the cable for the Alternate Air control. The alternate air control is used as a redundant source of air for the engine if for some reason the air filter should get clogged during a flight. Getting the main air source blocked is an extremely rare incident....but the redundancy is great to have "just in case"!

Rob and I finished off the session by using adel clamps to secure a couple hoses in the engine area.....it always helps to have an extra set of hands when working on adel clamps!!

A little more progress made.....once again a million thanks to Rob for spending some time in the shop to lend a hand.
