Brief Description:  Throttle / Mixture Cables and Cable Bracket

A long work day due to a late group meeting followed by the weekly lawn mowing routine got me back in the house at dusk. I showered and went out to the shop to get a little work done.

Mostly the short session focused on tidying up and completing the final details of the cable and bracket installation.

I had to make a little more adjustment on the rod end and cable adjustment for the throttle cable to allow full movement of the throttle arm to go to both stops with extra travel of the cable left at both ends of the travel. I tightened the cable lock nuts on their respective brackets.

Once I felt I had everything in sync and adjusted correctly I removed the cap screws that were holding the main cable bracket to the engine and installed four 3/4 inch bolts with lock washers and got the bolts tightened. Moving both cables together in every possible position produced no cable conflict between the two and nothing rubbing on anything.

Despite all the difficulty of getting the cables and brackets made or modified I am very satisfied with the bracket and cable set up....it seems to have worked out well.
