Got a text from Rob on Friday night and he said he could come over on Saturday for a while if I wanted the help.....as always I didn't turn down his offer.
We tackled various engine tasks while he was here which included the alternator, crankshaft seal retaining brackets, EGT probes drilled and installed, exhaust pipes installed, support clamps for the prop governor oil line and other small misc items.
The biggest challenge for the session was once again working the bracket for the mixture control. The throttle body and the mixture arm come real close to the cowl bottom so we were working out the lever as well as the bracket for the mixture that would work with the cable routing.
By the end of the work session we pretty much came up with a plan....Rob had to leave and I continued working on the mixture cable bracket design.
