A late day at work and a crisis at my son Brett's household conspired to make for a short work session tonight.
I received a call from my son in Palm Bay Florida that he was taking off the old cheap hose from the faucet in the back yard and the whole pipe broke as he was trying to get it off. Over the course of two hours or so, Facetime, and doing an impromptu "How to solder a pipe demo in my basement shop", locating the spot in the wall inside the house that needed to have the drywall removed to access the pipe and effect the repair we "got er dun". He did a great job and we completed the online learning and repaired the broken pipe leak free without burning the house down!!!
So after that I went and sanded the snorkel where I had applied glaze to pinholes and flaws in the last session. I deemed the snorkel ready for beginning to lay primer down and see what other flaws make themselves conspicious.
