Ralph came over again tonight to continue assisting in the project build. I never turn down his assistance with the electrical portion of this project since he is such a great resource and an electrical genius!
While I was putting in the left firewall pass thru, Ralph was lacing up the CHT/EGT wires. Then he grabbed the wires that are needed for the Pmags and laced them together to route them thru the cockpit area as well. We are running both sets of ignition wires thru the left F/W pass thru. Fortunately with the Pmag you do NOT need any shielded cable for the installation since there is no electrical interferrence from the units.
Ralph then installed the sensor manifold while I was in the cockpit contorting myself and running wires. In between Ralph would go to his computer with his great CAD program and update drawings.
Ralph's assistance has been indespensable in this portion of the build.......as has been Rob Brooks and Rick McBride in other areas.....this project would have not been as successful without these three musketeers!!
