I worked on the tips quite a bit to get the fit right on both tips. I installed them and removed them to make adjustments, sand a little, fuss a little here and there till I finally got both hinge pins to go in well and everything looked fine.
Then I continued by dimpling all the holes in the wing skins ( there are 72 holes in each wing). With that done I then deburred the hinges and countersunk the fiberglass spacers. That means I prepared a total of 426 holes for the wingtips.....tedious but necessary part of the process!
