Brief Description:  Wire tie panel Ver 2.0 (cont)

I continued to work on the new wire tie panel ver 2.0. Prior to drilling and getting the nutplates installed on the new panel I wanted to strip the old ones out of the previous panel So I proceeded to remove all the nutplates. That took a bit of time and a lot of drilling but I felt I may as well recycle as opposed to using new ones....being frugal haha.

After removing the nutplates, I marked the spacing and locations of the nylon ties and the location of the nutplates. I drilled the locations and then used the fixture to drill the rivet holes. Instead of dimpling the panel I decided to countersink since it is .032 stock and it isn't for structural purposes for the nylon tiedowns.I took the recycled nutplates and riveted them in place.

Last thing to do is attach the nylon tiedowns and it will be ready to install.
