So I have been going between the construction manual that I received with my 2006 era kit and looking at the newer construction manual that came on the RV8 CD that I purchased from Vans. The newer manual has a lot more detail and is helpful. When it came to the rudder stops I determined that these are pre-fabed in the newer kits....the older kits had a print drawing to make them from sctatch out of alum angle.
I re-installed the F-812 elevator up stop and put on the rudder as well.
