Brief Description: Checking things out and planning
Kathryn and Jennifer were looking and sorting through a zillion family photos....I took the opportunity to sequester myself in the shop. I spent probably 3-4 hours just looking things over and checking things out. Not really doing any work but reading the manual and looking at various elements of the areas that have been done and inspecting. I removed the bolts on the right wing aileron bellcrank and inspected the installation, then re-instaled and torqued.
I emailed the Garmin G3X division to get some information on where and how the autopilot roll pitch servo is connected. Well I was AMAZED to get a response in a very short time (it was a Sunday....I didn't expect a response till the weekday!!!). This is what is soooooo wonderful about the Garmin e/ab team! I am planning to install a complete G3X system in the airplane.....SWEET!
Anyway it appears the right wing bellcrank will need to be removed again in order to install the roll servo mounting bracket. Well I got some practice anyway by removing and inspecting it! Wings are getting close to being done....will be moving on to fuse afterward!
Looking things over!
Inspection
Posing for Kathryn looking like I am doing something
