Brief Description:  Fitting canopy to frame-1

After cleaning up most of the plexi dust (bad idea—should have waited a while longer), I began adjusting the canopy to the frame for best fit. I slid the canopy forward approx 2 inches. This really helped on the back end. I added some 1/8” spacers around the frame and marked the canopy where some relief cuts need to be made on the down tubes. Had done this previously before canopy separation, but moving the canopy forward created a need for new cuts. The extra relief cuts don’t really matter since they will be trimmed away when making final trim cuts along the sides. Made these cuts with a sanding drum on the dremel. Next I plan to clamp the canopy to the frame and drill for a couple of clecoes on each side so that I don’t have to spend so much time aligning the canopy to the frame.
