Brief Description:  Canopy cutting-3

Tonight-well just more of the same. I have been aligning the canopy to the centerline of the fuse—front and rear, with the centerline marks on the canopy. However, the center of the canopy was about a ¼” off from the center of the roll bar. Also, the right side of the canopy was sitting slightly lower that the left side along the upper tube of the canopy frame. This indicated to me that the canopy was on the fuse ok, but needed to be rolled a bit to the left. To compensate, I took a 3/8” cut off of the left side from the front back about 18”. This rolled the canopy to the left so that the canopy is now on centerline with the roll bar as well as the front and rear of the canopy. I made one more 3/8” cut around the front to even up both sides. I still have a finger width (1/2” or so) between the roll bar and canopy. The front is now within 1.25” of the red line marked on the front of the canopy. Looks like a bit more trimming on the front is needed.
