Brief Description: Tie down ring mount, start static ports
Finished trimming the tie down attachment plates. I will rivet them after I prime the bulkheads & gussets. Pulled out the static ports from the SafeAir kit. Per the plans, I marked the skins for location of the static ports. Drilled a 1/16” pilot hole, then progressively drilled up to a size C bit. Then I final reamed to ¼”. At present I am thinking I will secure the static ports with RTV instead of riveting them on.
