Installed the flap on right wing—same procedure as the left one. Secured each end of the flap hinge to the wing skin and flap brace with a cleco side clamp. Set the aileron to neutral and adjusted the flap to give a ¼” gap between flap and aileron. Adjusted the flap height to align the trailing edge with the trailing edge of the aileron. Measured it all again—and again and once more to be sure. Match drilled thru the first hole closest to the side clamp on each end. This time I used a 3/32” drill instead of a #41. After setting a cleco in these two holes, I checked the trailing edge again—perfectly aligned. Then, I progressively drilled and clecoed until I reached the inboard end of the skin. Operated the flap up and down—no binding, works very smoothly. I pulled the hinge pin and removed the flap from the wing. Tomorrow night I will match ream all the holes to #41.
