Match reamed skin, flap brace and flap hinge with #41 reamer. Removed hinge from wing. Drilled out the 2 NAS “keeper” rivets attaching skin and brace, then drilled out the 2 pop rivets attaching brace to spar. Clecoed the hinge back on and match drilled the 2 holes that previously had the “keeper” rivets in them. Removed the hinge and brace from the wing. Deburred the wing skin, flap brace and flap hinge. Dimpled the wing skin using the pneumatic squeezer. Got a couple of new air tools today—a cleco gun and a pop rivet puller. The cleco gun is a real hand-saver. Can’t wait to use the rivet puller on the blind rivets that will join the flap brace to the rear spar.
