I sanded the area on the upper cowling where the oil cooler mounting bracket had rubbed a small groove. Then, I mixed up some resin with flox and applied to the cowl. I also filed the bracket down a bit more, then shot some primer on it. The rest of my day was spent working on paperwork before calling for an inspection. I did get a transponder inspection scheduled—earliest available was later this month—ugg. I did find out that I can get the airworthiness inspection done and fly without the transponder inspection.
