I ripped off the peel ply, then sanded the fiberglass on the intersections until smooth. I mixed up some resin with flox, applied to the underside of the fairing were it had been cut away, then installed the fairings. Also, mixed up some micro and spread over the outside. My right wing tip did not completely line up with the wing at the leading edge, so I taped off the wing, sanded the tip and added some micro. Fiberglass work just never ends! Tomorrow is planned for first engine start—stay tuned for results.
