I took apart the door and deburred all parts. Then, I re-assembled the door and clecoed the hinge to the top skin. There were still a couple of areas along the aft side that fit to tight, so I removed the door and carefully filed these areas. This went on for several iterations—fit is still on the tight side, but I’ll leave that for later. I used a hand seamer to try and work the outboard skin down, but it still needs some additional curve. This is a rather slow process, but I don’t plan on building a 3rd door! However this turns out, it’s going to be the “flying” door.
