Brief Description:  Prep lower cowl for hnge rivets

I installed the lower cowling with the front air seals in place and was able to get the pins installed in the rear vertical hinges. It’s a struggle to get the cowl on with the air seals, but doable. I removed the cowling and countersunk the glass for the vertical hinge pieces. Mixed up a batch of resin and brushed it on both upper & lower cowling under the flange of nose ring. Also, spread a coat on both upper air ramps. I had planned to mix a batch of flox and rivet the side hinges, but the temps got up too early—the higher temps really reduce the time before the resin gets hot and gels, so I’ll wait until early morning to rivet the side hinges. I also picked up some high temp white paint for the inside of the cowls. I plan to shoot a coat after I rivet the hinges. I rubbed down the spinner with a paper towl—it seems to smooth off any of the over spray, giving it a slick surface. I stowed the spinner safely away in the cockpit until final assembly.
