Last night I ran a cosmetic bead of Sika along the aft side of the roll bar/windscreen and a couple of spots along the sides of the windscreen. Today, I pulled off all tape and the plastic sheeting from the windscreen. Stood back and admired the clear plexi. Then I drew some lines on the windscreen and the top skin where I think I want the edges of the fiberglass fairing to end. I ran a line of yellow tape around the lines, then ran a second line of white tape just overlapping the yellow. I used 2” wide blue tape to mask off the windscreen followed by another run of white tape to seal the edges. Tomorrow I’ll run a black tape line over the yellow as well as tape off the skin area.
