Brief Description: Add nut plates for r. brake line
No pics today—spent a short time in the shop—and a long time doing yard work! In chasing air bubbles from the plastic lines, I decided if I ever needed to remove the lines, it sure would be easier with nutplates in the 2 brackets I was using for adel clamp attachment points. Used a nut jig and drilled #40 holes for the nutplate attachment. Since these brackets sit close to the firewall, I put a small countersink in them and secured with CCR-2624SS-3-2 cherry pop rivets. These cherry rivets work very well in areas where you just can’t get a squeezer or bucking bar in place.
