Today I removed the transducer manifold and cleaned the primer off of the back and also off of the face of the doubler that backs up the manifold. Several of the transducers need a ground source. I plan to terminate them with ring terminals and used the bolts that secure the manifold for the ground source. I will also run a ground wire from the manifold to the forrest of tabs. I plugged the un-used holes in the manifold—left one hole open on the oil source so I can mount a switch for low oil pressure/hobbs meter activation. I need a 45 degree fitting to clear the firewall for that switch. I also crimped a ring terminal on the #8 wire from the alternator, then added shrink tubing. I’m still trying to figure out the other end of this wire—shunt, ANL and battery side of starter contactor.
