Trimmed the right side aft end of the fairing, then cut part of the nose off where it is supposed to wrap around the leading (didn’t wrap all that well before—had a ½” gap.) I cut 3 strips of glass about 3” wide and long enough to wrap over the leading edge to the first attachment hole (fairing to VS). I applied some packing tape along the lower sides of the HS & VS, then rolled some modeling clap into about a ½” diameter strip and applied to the joint between the HS & VS. I mixed up some resin and applied to the first strip of glass. Applied this glass to the HS/VS, wrapping around the leading edge of the HS—then I installed the fairing and clecoed it into position. Applied resin to the other two strips and applied them to the structure. Next, I applied some strips of peel ply. Left everything to cure—hopefully without any sags.
