Brief Description: Glue gussets to right side of rib #1
Tonite i set everything up to glue the gussets to the right side of rib #1. I used too much glue last time and had alot left over. This time i poured in five circles of one part then five circles of the second part and mixed thoroughly. I supported the rib off the table with 4 clamps. I started with the trailing edge and applied epoxy to the rib making sure i covered all of the area on the spruce that would be covered with the gussets and clamped in place. I used one clamp for each gusset. Since the rib was not in a jig i had to be careful to make sure they were aligned properly when i clamped them. After gluing gussets all the way to the front i ran out of epoxy. I had just enough left to make a coupon but not enough to epoxy the front nose piece. I mixed a little more just to be able to finish the rib. Next time i'll mixed 5 1/2 circles of epoxy and see how that last. With all the gussets glued down and clamped i called it a night.
