Brief Description:  Fitting Rear Window 2: Mark hole locations

Plans say to mark the hole locations. Plans don't mention drilling, but says put on the window and drill. Well I use 2 different drills to cut metal versus plexiglass. So I think I will drill the aft skin holes first and use them to match drill with the plexiglass. But on the roll bar, I just mark the hole location, then drill it thru the plexiglass and let the tip of my drill mark the location of the hole. Then I'll remove the window and drill the roll bar.

So I marked the hole locations on the roll bar. These were previously marked when I did the F-631 rib. I wanted them to match.

Then I made an off set line 5/16 from edge of skin. And used the calipers to mark the hole locations. Drawing says to use approximate.y 2.500 inches in between holes. But this puts the top hole too close to the upper rib. I used 2.490 inches and after about 14 holes you just clear the upper rib.

My first hole is 2 inches from front of the skin
