Next the release hinge block gets drilled to the sub-panel and platenuts installed. I clamped the block in position and drilled the two #12 holes. Then to locate platenuts, I put a #8 screw thru the platenut backwards, and clecoed it in place for drilling the rivet holes. Then to rivet it, I bolted the platenut in place and used flush platenut rivets which are pulled rivets.
