Another idiot mistake I made was I didn't screw the ball joint all the way into the flaps. I didn't notice this until after I was making the hole for it. So hole got bigger inboard than it needed to be. Dang it.
From the outside the holes don't look to bad. It is just from the bottom where you can tell they are too big. Oh well, at least they won't hang up.
