Brief Description:  Flap Push Rod Hole 4: Trim inboard edge

I had some interference with the flap against the fuselage and had to trim this. Left side was just barely touching but the right side needed about 1/8 taken off.

I'm really depressed that these holes are too big. I guess I'll get over it. The flap overlap piece easily covers them when flaps are up and I suppose that is important.

The last two photos below show the rod at fully deployed. You can see I made the slot too long.

Another thing, the motor seems really weak. I'm using a 12V charger and the motor hardly moves. I can't believe this will work against wind pressure. I'll do some further clean up on the inside flap edges so there is no touching against the fuselage and I'll look at lubricating anywhere possible. But if the power the motor displayed tonight doesn't get better, I'm going to have to find a different way to deploy flaps.

I wonder if a Cessna motor is stronger?
