Brief Description:  Landing Gear Weldmount Installation 4

The second issue is closing the gap on the bottom most bolt. You might recall the wing spar has a doubler plate here that is causing a gap. One side was only a regular washer gap. The other side was 1+ washer gap. I had some really skinny aluminum washers I got from Boeing a while ago that it with a regular washer was the right size to fill the gap. I screwed around trying to get them both in, but I kept dropping them. Funny how many times you can try something the same way, fail and try again. Finally, I thought of a different approach to get the two washers in there.

YESI super glued the two washers together and then I was able to put them in using my washer tool. So yes, I've now used super glue on my airplane. arhg.
