Brief Description:  Mid-Aft Body Join - Bend Tabs 3

This is the other tab. I bent it using the same process as the other tab. Results are the same. Very good and no cracks. I don't have a snappy corner at the small end, but I like the curve I've got and no fear of cracking the skin at the hole.

First I deburred it really well. Then I clamped it with metal on both sides. I used four (4) C-clamps. I drilled an angle and attached it with clecoes. I put clecoes in every hole. The plan says ever other hole, but I didn't see that until after I did it and I like the result. I used two (2) cresent wrenches or adjustable wrenches to pull up on the skin and bend it. I also used some hand pressure on the large end to form the curve and finish the 90 degree bend. The spring back is 20+ degrees. But once it looks like it completes 90 degrees I un clamp it and put it back on the fuselage and it fits.
