Brief Description: Mid Fuselage - Top Outboard Rivet Issue
I did have trouble with the two top holes on the outboard most ribs. Actually there were just fine, but I put a smiley on the Universal Head. I should have left it alone. But no, I tried to make it perfect and drilled them out for a redo. Now I've got this oversized hole. I've order some Cherry Max rivets to put in here.
I finished these holes off with Cherry max rivets. I drilled the hole the next size larger to match a slightly oversized Cherry Max rivet that I got from Aircraft Spruce and then pulled it in there. It filled the hole nicely, gave a nice shop head and is supposedly as strong has a solid rivet.
