I found some .032 aluminum strip and clamped it to the outside of the longerons. It represents the skin that will eventually be on here. Then I positioned the canopy deck at the 24 1/4 location and overlaping the .032 skin. I clamped it and drilled it. I clecoed as I went. I ended up with flush and slight overhang along the length. I think it is okay. If the slight overhang bugs me later I'll sand it off.
