After I finished the first major bend I turned them 90 degrees in the vise and sighted down them for straightness out of the plane. It was easy to see where I needed to, by hand, bend them "up" a little. I did this until they looked straight and I layed them on the floor and they are indeed straight in the vertical plane.
Then I put them back in the vise and gave them the sharp bend at 28 1/4 inches. I had to wack them a few times. I measured the deflection at the end per drawing and I measured the angle of deflection. They match the drawing. When I say "match" I mean with slight load in one direction or the other. These things are pretty flexible.
Then I twisted the end 17 degrees per drawing. I used my digital level to measure. I got them close. Again these are pretty flexible and measuring to 1 degree accuracy is a bit of guess work.
I'm calling them done. I suppose later when I fit them to fuselage I could make adjustments if needed.
