Next the plans call for drilling the rivet holes in the vertical shear bars. With the center sections in place I located the shear bars and positioned them with two bolts through the bolt holes. I then drilled the rivet holes being careful to drill straight through not at a slant. Results, just fine. I countersunk the forward side to ensure a flush rivet that mates to the forward spar.
