Brief Description:  Tank Assy - Inboard Left Rib Installation 2

I set out to rivet on the first inboard rib. And got some advice from brother Ed to also rivet on the angle support bracket at sametime. And now I see you really have to do the angle bracket at the sametime while the Proseal is soft. First I noticed the rivet shop heads would not fit adjacent to the angle support so I filed some spaces. I may have filed more than needed.

You might notice that the front hole is to close to the fuel line hole and so it will be a flush rivet.

Then I rescratched all mating surfaces with sand paper and with gloves on I recleaned everything with MEK. I mixed up 66 grams of Proseal, smeared it on, clecoed and squeezed all the rivets. At the advice of my brother I limited the depth of the outside filet with blue tape because later some platenuts have to go here for the wing to body fairing. Only one rivet misbehaved and was too proud. So I drilled it out, poorly and replaced it with an OPPs rivet. Those things are great.
