Brief Description: Spar - Add Platenuts to spar flange
First step seemed simple. Just rivet the platenuts onto the spar flange. But it took me several hours to figure out what they were saying about the counter sinking. I read Van's Forum. I finally figured out I had to: 1) drill rivet holes to #40 2) drill screw holes to #30 3) debur inside only because outside will be countersunk 4) counter sink rivet holes with #40 for flush revits 5) counter sink screw holes with #30 to a diameter of 0.365 - 0.375. I targetted 0.365.
