Brief Description: Elevator - Rt Trailing Edge Bend finished
After closing the gap, only the very trailing edge was bent by the bender. Photo one shows how it looked making the final press. I could feel the plastic bend as I pushed on the upper board. I did it carefully, NOT A LOT OF LOAD. I did not use a dowl in the there. Photo 2 shows the spring back now was only about an inch above the spar. I measured flatness over and over again and you can see the result in photo 3. I don't want to use the hand tool for fear of putting a bend mark or ding in the skin. I think this is good. I had another builder, Roger Dougherty over tonight who is building a Mustang and he said this was great, it will fly. So for now I'll proceed.
With boards flush only the trailing edge gets pinched
