Brief Description: Aileron-Rolling the Leading Edge & Finished
I rolled the leading edge on the aileron practice part today. Bending it was easier than I thought. I used 1 inch piper from one of my wood working clamps. Duct tape held the sheet metal to the pipe and the pipe wrench made turning it very easy. It rolled nicely and did not bend at the spar. I also used the little wheel roller and rolled the top sheet so that the overlap joint would close nicely. That kind of worked. The bottom rolled easily also. I did the final drill and pulled in rivets to finish off this practice part.
